We are a community-created and community-centered craft brewery in a vintage sewing factory... in Dyersville!
Our building was built in 1906 as a gasoline engine factory. It was then a sewing factory from 1910-2017. Everything in our taproom (besides the chairs and honed granite bar top) was found in the building.
Textile was renovated to restore its beauty and become a microbrewery, displaying the vintage charm of the sewing factory. You'll find almost everything in the taproom was found in the building (besides the chairs and honed granite bar top).
All Textile brews are made in the brewery, located in the basement of the building. You will find delicious brews to be paired with the massive Bavarian pretzel, pretzel bites and flatbread (gluten-free option available). Our beers are exclusive as they are only served in our Textile taproom and distributed to our satellite taproom in Cascade, IA. We offer dine-in, take-out, and curbside service. We also have a dog-friendly Biergarten with umbrellas and firepits!
This poster from WWI was found in the building upon its purchase in 2017.
At each wall table in our taproom, you will find a handmade, custom lamp made with parts found in the former sewing factory. These were created by local Artist, Chris Huisman of Retropurposed Workshop.
You will also find frames displaying the building history, in a timeline. We recommend starting from the merchandise corner and working your way around clockwise to check this out in order!
The mission of Textile Brewing Company is to offer our customers a unique and inviting experience in our historic buildings, focused on craft beer, community, sustainability and exceptional service.
Every Wednesday, you'll receive exclusive updates on our brews, events, and more!
