We are a community-created and community-centered craft brewery in a vintage sewing factory... in Dyersville!
Our building was built in 1906 as a gasoline engine factory. It was then a sewing factory from 1910-2017. Everything in our taproom (besides the chairs and honed granite bar top) was found in the building.
At Textile Brewing Company, we’re more than just a brewery—we’re a time machine. We’ve lovingly restored our historic sewing factory to create a space where the past and present seamlessly intertwine. Every sip of our craft beer tells a story, brewed right in the heart of our building’s rich heritage.
We’re dedicated to crafting exclusive brews that you can only experience within our walls or at our satellite taprooms. Our taproom is a haven for beer enthusiasts and history buffs alike, with custom lamps and artwork created from the very fabric of the building’s former life.
Whether you're enjoying a cold one by the firepit in our dog-friendly Biergarten or exploring the timeline of our building’s history, we invite you to become part of our community—where sustainability, exceptional service, and a love for the craft come together in perfect harmony.
At each wall table in our taproom, you will find a handmade, custom lamp made with parts found in the former sewing factory. These were created by local Artist, Chris Huisman of Retropurposed Workshop.
You will also find frames displaying the building history, in a timeline. We recommend starting from the merchandise corner and working your way around clockwise to check this out in order!
